Meet our great group of staff. Although they share a great love of educating our children, they hold a variety of qualifications.
Abby is the Centre Manager and a Registered Teacher. She is the leader in business operations, enrolments, communications, and is the first point of contact. She is passionate, motivated, approachable and is a natural planner and finisher. Abby recently completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching Early Childhood Education through University of Auckland.
Addie is the head teacher and 2IC at our centre. She is very creative with arts and crafts and is adventurous outdoors. Through her teaching, she has active and reciprocal interactions with the children, which makes her a popular teacher. Addie has a strong focus on observing tamariki for learning stories and planning progressive learning development.
Jerilyn is a Registered Teacher at our Centre. Through her very peaceful mat times she teaches our tamariki to follow in Jesus’ footsteps through her intentional use of bible stories and Catholic traditions.
Bianca is one of our long-standing mums at the Marian Centre, seeing all four of her tamariki through these doors. She bring much energy and warmth to the team by making sure the Centre is seeing to the specific needs of our children and their families.
Emra is one of our excellent teacher aides at the Marian Centre. She is a strong role model to our tamariki with her gentle and guiding presence. Her dynamic and thoughtful approach enables positive and flexible play spaces for our tamariki to grow and explore their milieu.
Shon is one of the newest members to the team. She beings much light and joy through her implementation of the Catholic character by providing age appropriate crafts and activities to our tamariki.
