The Marian Early Childhood Centre is a not-for-profit preschool that is committed to supporting parents/whānau, as the primary educators of their children, by providing a Catholic ethos in our early childhood centre.

Vision and Mission

We believe in the positive character formation of tamariki united with their families in experiencing the presence of God in their lives.

We promote learning opportunities to help both the children and their parents develop and enhance their faith experience and knowledge.

Learning

The learning environment of our centre is based on encouraging our children to grow in character and virtue. Our goal is to enhance the specific learning experiences of our tamariki and build a strong community with their whānau and larger community through Christian leadership and values.

Location

We are based in the beautiful community of Panmure, next to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and St. Patrick’s Primary School.

Requirements / Age

We welcome children from the age of 2-5.

Cost

For under 3 years we charge $4 / hour. Children ages 3+ are eligible for the governments free 20hrs, plus a further 10 free hours funded by the Marian Centre for a total of 30 free ECE hours a week.

Hours

We are open Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM. Holiday program available for enroled students.

Governance

Good governance is achieved with the support of a parent committee and board of trustees. Parents are welcome to join and contribute toward the development of education for the benefit of the tamariki and wider community.
